Terms of service
These terms cover your use of KiddoReady (kiddoready.com). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What KiddoReady is
- KiddoReady is a free tool for organizing and printing information you provide about your child, such as contacts, allergies, and medications.
- It is not a medical service, does not give medical advice, does not check or verify anything you enter, and does not monitor your child.
- In an emergency, call 911 first. A card helps caregivers and responders find information; it doesn't replace emergency services.
- KiddoReady is built for families in the United States. Cards print 911 and US Poison Control, and phone numbers use the US +1 format.
Your responsibilities
- Make cards only for a child you are a parent or legal guardian of, or are otherwise authorized to share information about.
- Keep the information accurate and up to date. Review the card regularly and print a new one when anything changes.
- Decide who gets a copy. Anyone holding a printed card, its QR code, or its link can read what's on it, and a link you've sent can't be taken back.
- Don't use the site to mislead, harass, or impersonate anyone, or to interfere with how the site works.
Your information
What you type stays on your device unless you choose to share a link. Our privacy policy explains exactly what happens to information when you use the site.
The Physical Safety Kit
Printed kits aren't available yet. Clicking "I'd want one" only tells us there's interest; it isn't an order or a reservation. If kits launch, ordering one will come with its own terms, shown before you pay.
No warranty
KiddoReady is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and availability. We don't promise that the site, the PDF, or a QR code will always work, or that a printed card will be read or acted on.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, KiddoReady and the people behind it aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for how cards or the information on them are used, including outcomes in an emergency. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to $50. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes
We may change or stop offering the site, and we may update these terms. When we do, we'll update this page and the date above. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Trademarks
KiddoReady and its logo are ours. QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. Open-source software used by the site is listed on the licenses page.
